The Euphorbia horrida var. noorsveldensis is the spiniest form of E. horrida

 It is usually green to grey in hue, offsets prolifically, and sometimes has tiny leaves near the top of its structure at the site of new growth (which usually occurs in the late winter and early springtime)

 Blooms are normally yellow to pale green
